Ten More Charity Tops finished

I did get down to the last three bags of tops I had in my sewing room - waiting for me to add borders to. I decided to just tackle some of these and work on them. It helped that I had some good baseball games to listen to while I was working on them. It kind of kept me sewing and sewing. I had a goal of 2 a day.

Some days I met that goal but many days I didn’t even try. Then I decided to get back to doing the 2 a day. A couple of days I did 5! Eventually these are all going to be done. For now, I’m not adding any more borders, but rather, I’m moving all the rest of the tops that arrive by mail by Fran (or anyone) to the church building where I store my finished quilts as well as tops. It’s a matter of focus. Once I finish the ones I have - I’ll bring home 20 or 30 tops at a time now - not 150 like I’ve had! It’s been borderline crazy.

So here they are.

These are all big ones from Fran in AZ. There are a couple here that aren’t quite as big as the others. I just added borders to all. I’m actually hoping I’ll be able to quilt them out nicely. I guess we’ll see.

I am also working down the ones in the long arm room - gradually, as well. Once I get the ones that are all piled up under the longarm quilted, I will move more tops down there.

For now I’ll wait until I have it more cleared out under the machine. (I was able to take away two of the bags of tops that I had there because I’ve been quilting.)

Thank you again for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading.

Oh…and here are some fantastic pictures of a previous giveaway. My son was here to get some really good pictures.

This is why we do all these charity quilts!
