2023 Charity quilts #1-10

For someone with lofty plans this year with regards to charity quilting, I’ve had a bit of a slow start.

To be honest (which I hope I always am), but I suppose it means, rather, transparent, in this situation, I’ve had these quilted since early February - but didn’t actually trim, bind, label, wash and photograph them until recently. Quite recently.

Anyway…one has to start somewhere, and I am so glad I’ve started now instead of October! :)

So here they are. There are a variety of tops here - from Fran’s centers, to Ewa and her mom’s work, to other donations - and maybe even one or two of my own! :)

Enjoy. These are all singles. They are all 55”-60” wide by 80” or longer.

The room at the church has a lot of tops there that I’ve been parking there, and after I take over about 30-40 finished charity quilts I may have to do something about organizing better in there. But I’m not there yet, so we’ll hold off on that for now. I’m just so grateful that I have a place to keep things which creates more space in my own house. Also, since they are all charity quilts, it is appropriate that they are kept in the building that is registered in the name of that organization, is it not?

And that’s all - it’s a start for this year - so that’s a biggie - at least for me.

Photos from our last give-away. Remembering recipients and how happy they were motivates me when my energy goes low.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading!
