International Quilt Festival in Houston 2023

This is another in the series by Rachael after her visit to Houston at the at end of October for the International Quilt Market - where she saw the quilts that were in the Show as well.

One of the reasons why people go to Houston is for the amazing International Quilt Show.

I really have no idea how many quilts were on display.

But, the Quilt Show, along with the classes and the amazing market is the big draw, for what used to be 150,000 people for the week.

These are the ones who have won awards.

The ones below are some of my favorites!

Then we saw a whole lot of other quilts. There were just rows upon rows of beautiful quilts. I stepped back to get you a few more in the scene.

Then, I got up close on some!

Absolutely stunning! The whole demeanor of the place, and the way the quilts were displayed, the fabulous signage and all led to one amazing show!

I hope you enjoyed your virtual tour. I know it’s not the same as being there, but I did save you at least $1000 in plane fare and entrance fees, in not having to buy bonus fabric because the temptation was so close by, and then, of course, there’s the $250/night hotel bill plus food!

So, you can thank me when you stop in to see us at the store! hehehe

Thanks for letting me share the show with you!

Thank you, Rachael for all the beautiful quilts!!! Simply amazing.

Thanks so much for coming along with us on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
