November 2023 Strips cutting report

I did cut SOME strips this month, but not a WHOLE lot. But I did some.

Here is what I did.

2.5” - 2.98 lbs.

2” - 1.65 lbs.

1.5” - .55 lbs.

My husband knows the drill now. “Oh, it’s getting to be the end of the month so it’s time to cut up the strips now, right?” I was able to clean out the pink plastic bin I had the pieces to be cut up - in just a few days. Obviously isn’t not that much.

This makes the total I’ve cut this year.

This is the total since I started cutting strips back in 2016.

And there you are. Strips for November. Some months I don’t “feel” like I am doing much, but now that I do have them under control, it all feels so much better. I don’t have a huge pile somewhere waiting to be trimmed down. That’s wonderful - let me tell you. I do have several boxes of those scrubs fabrics from a factory to cut into squares, but my regular scraps from quilting and piecing I’ve managed to cut. At least all the ones that are on the main floor. It IS a constant thing, as I always create more scraps with every single project I do.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.

We’ve been hit with winter this week - actually the past couple of weeks and I’ve not wanted to go outside and take photos of finished quilts. However, I may have to put on gloves, get my camera used to the cold and do it anyway! :)

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
