Kaffe Bundles Monthly - Something New from Quilted Twins

We here at Quilted Twins are trying something new!

Monthly Kaffe Club - or MKC

 It’s a Kaffe New Fabric Club issued on a monthly basis. This Club can be either subscription or your choice. You can pick and choose which months you want to participate.

We have wrestled with the ideology behind subscription plans, balancing the ease of having something you want automatically delivered against the waste of getting things you don’t want or can’t afford coming automatically to your door.

You all know that our basic philosophy here at Quilted Twins is to keep quilting affordable.

We all know that this hobby can be quite expensive.

A regular sewing machine runs around $80 to $159. You add the word “Quilting” to it and it automatically jumps to $1000 or more, with some long-arms running in the $40,000 range. Yes, you read that right. If you didn’t realize it, some of the newer, automated, computerized long-arms are over $40,000. That, by the way, was the price of our first house back in 1988.

Needless to say, I, as a business owner, have come to realize that we should strive to meet both needs: those who beg for convenience at a reasonable cost, and those who want it, but are watching their pennies.

So, our compromise is this: We are offering our Kaffe Club as a subscription model IF YOU WANT it to be. You will have to order the first time and write “SUBSCRIBE” somewhere on the order, either on your first order of it, or you could email us and tell us you want to join it, or you could text us. Somehow we need to know that you want to do it.

If you like to be surprised, order this Monthly Kaffe Club. You’ll get these up to a week before the bundle is released to those who order based on what’s in the bundle. It will be marked MKC for Monthly Kaffe Club.

The price is $50 for eight half yards. I asked Scott Fortunoff (President of Jaftex Corporation who sells Free Spirit) if we could give a bit of a price break in doing this, but he assured me that $12.50/yard ($6.25 per half yard) was the best we could offer.

So, we are honoring that promise that we made when we signed up to sell Kaffe. We are offering a nice BONUS to each fabric bundle. This month it is a FREE yard of a solid fabric. It could be a fat quarter, tape measure, ruler or something else we have to sweeten the offer, and help you out as a quilter!

We are offering “new to Quilted Twins” fabrics in our fabric bundles. They may or may not be brand new to the FreeSpirit lineup, but they will be new to our store. The fabrics will be part of the Kaffe Fassett Collective or KFC. Most of you realize that not only Kaffe Fassett designs for this line but so does Phillip Jacobs and Brandon Mably. So, these fabrics will be from any of those three designers.

So, here you have our first MONTHLY Kaffe Club package. We will have these, until they sell out. So, if you’re joining in late, you should be able to collect all the Monthly Kaffe Club Bundles that haven’t previously sold out.
