August 2023 Strips cutting report

I’m a little slow on this report as other things kept crowding it off the schedule.

However, I did cut a little this month.

I did not finish a lot because I don’t have a lot to trim, but I made it a point here the last few days of the month to look around for things to chop up. I figured I should be able to find SOMETHING.

So here is the report.

From left - 2.5”, 2”, 1.5”

Note: Hopefully for the rest of the year I’ll have more to report - meaning that I’ll have more to cut up and as such, that means I’m getting other things finished!

2.5” - 0.77 lb.

2” -0.44 lb.

1.5” -011 lb.

With these totals, this means my year 2023 totals are here.

And here is the total of what I’ve done since I got started on trimming into strips.

So, this isn’t that much this month, but it is something. I was busy in August, as most of you realize, and I did not focus that much on trimming anything at all.

If you look at the 2.5” strips, I did cut up almost a pound. Well, at least over half a pound. It was close to the equivalent of a single “Jelly Roll” or 2.5” strips roll. That’s not much. But it is something. Something is better than nothing. :)

And cutting a little bit less means that maybe I can actually sew up MORE than I cut in the next month or so.

Thanks again for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading!
