Review of 2024 Quilting Goals

I thought I’d do a brief blog post about how my goals are coming along for 2024.

Let’s review.

  1. Finish 120 charity quilts - I’ve not done any yet

  2. Finish 50 quilts or get caught up - Have finished 61.

  3. Write up 2 patterns a month for a total of 24 patterns for 2024 - have written up 10 so far in 2024. That’s good for 5 months, so I’m okay on those.

  4. Piece 10 quilts from my 2.5” strips and squares. - I’ve finished 1 with several more in the works

  5. Give away or sell 10 more of my own quilts than I make in 2024. So far I’ve given away 77, I think - I need to find out where I am exactly.

  6. Get the long arm working with digital - not done yet. I’ve not worked on the long arm since coming back to Poland on April 6.

So…I’ve got a lot to do, but I feel like it’s going okay for what has been going on in my life in 2024.

Since I spent the first two months of this year quilting a lot of quilts, then the next 5-6 weeks in Florida, I’m actually wanting to get a couple of tops pieced. :) Plus, I really do like to piece:)

That’s where I am for this year so far. I did give away those quilts earlier this year and then the one I made while in Florida, I left it in Florida as a gift. The other ones that were finished were all left there as well to be used in the store.

So thanks again for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
