A Call for the Locals - Pasco County Fair - need your Help!!

It’s TIME!

FEBRUARY 19-25, 2024

Yes it is!

We need two things.

  1. We need your HELP.

Would you be willing to give up some of your time and help out in Collura Cottage on the Pasco County Fairgrounds in Dade City making cookies (baking the premade cookie dough in portable ovens they have there) and handing out the freshly baked cookies and milk to those who come in and in general, being a hostess to those who stop by?

We don’t make a lot of them ahead of time (like the day before) because we want people to have “freshly baked” cookies! Plus, the smell is wonderful!

(It’s mostly smiling and saying hi and asking people if they would like a cookie.)

Obviously the other things that go with that are cleaning up after yourself by the end of the shift. :) It’s not hard if you can stand up and make cookies and hand out milk. It’s fun. People are so friendly and enjoy the cookies - IOW, you are their best friend at the moment!. :) The cookies are free to those who stop in.

We need people in these two shifts - 4-7 pm or 7-11 pm. Can you help? Bring a friend, daughter, husband, and let’s get these scheduled! We want to schedule two people per shift. (Dates when help is needed for cookie making/milk distribution will be when the fair is open - Feb. 19-25, 2024.)

If you can help bake and hand out cookies and milk, please text us.

THANKS!
