So what have I been doing in Florida?

So far, I’ve done almost no sewing.

But hopefully that will change. What I have been doing is getting used to the time change - and making up kits for the store.

I am hoping soon to get ahead enough to take a breather from that and begin to feel like we’re okay for now.

I’m almost there.

Let me share with you some photos.

We also have been busy setting up the displays for the Shop Hop. It is so difficult because with the Shop hop, they don’t let you sell the special Shop Hop fabrics until March 1, so it kind of hinders preparation.

We wouldn’t want to have things on display that we can’t sell yet, so we didn’t set up until Thursday afternoon, Feb. 29 and then on Friday, March 1 we weren’t really ready for it. But we spent the day in between customers working on getting things set up for it.

Here are a few of the things we’ve done. Most of the the things that have been hung up were done by Rachael or Rachael and Ken. I did only a couple and have fixed a few things that might have come down.

A poster we put up outside so people could see what we are offering for the All Florida Shop Hop.

The Boho bag. Since this place we have moved it to a more prominent place.

We hung up the bags here and there.

So, this is just a quick overview of what I’ve been doing. I will start sewing soon. I have felt like I had a lot to do in order to get us more ready for the onslaught of people. So, this is what I’ve been doing.

But jet lag has been a constant struggle. I was almost ready and then my husband came in and he was restless. So, there’s that. :)

And now you know. These are just some of the photos of the shop. We’re always trying to improve, straighten up and make things more presentable!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this jouirney!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
