One of our customers

I was helping in the store the other day and a lady named Cheryl stopped in and bought some fabric.

We started chatting and I found out she makes beautiful things - and has an Etsy shop. I told her I’d share with you her shop so you can see the things she makes.

She makes these interesting placemats! So many times I wished I used placemats. I used to use them, but now I use my table to cut fabric! :)

We love to hear how our customers make money using fabric. I think it is fantastic when it works! We had a different customers a few days ago flip fabric on Ebay and Instagram. We’ve had other customers make things for craft shows. We have a couple who make t shirt quilts for a living and others who have a list quite long for making custom quilts. That’s not counting the ones who make gnomes, cosmetic bags, tote bags and other similar type things!

I have had a busy weekend and I appreciated Cheryl letting me take pictures of her items as we were reporting to another church on Sunday and I had no time to think about a blog post.
