"Craggy Edge Chain"

Wow. I have had this one sitting around since the fall of 2022. I guess for me that isn’t too amazing, actually considering what the last few years have brought my way.

I decided to name it Craggy Edge Chain because well, I think you can tell by the photos why.

The quilt is made of a chain block and a bow tie block along with sashing and cornerstones made of 4 patches. It uses some larger pieces (3 1/2” squares) and some 1.5” strips - so smaller blocks. I have to admit to liking the small chain look.

What do I think of this one?

I love it! I like how it turned out and those warm colors are perfect for a fall/autumn scrappy quilt! I’d give it a 9/10. It actually surprised me how much I liked it when finished due to the larger alternate blocks. But somehow they fade into the background as you see the chain when you first look at this one. At least I do.

Here’s the quilt roll:

As you can see, this quilt is made up of two blocks - a bowtie block and a chain block. All in autumn colors.

The sashing was in a slightly darker than the background color - just for interest.

I really do like how this one turned out! I thought that edge was kind of a cool effect. :)

Upon taking a second look the large bow tie blocks jump out at you!

I have been working on the pattern and it is uploaded and here for you!

I hope someone can use it!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
