"Hillside Houses" finished

I quilted this on my Janome as I really liked the way the original designer did it and this is what she did. I quilted it with wavy lines. I don’t know how to do the wavy lines on my long arm.

The quilt top was made earlier this year - in April/May. It was my first “house” quilt in the latest frenzied quilt top making.

I really love how it works hanging up outside in the yard.

It looks really nice. Yes, I am super happy with this one!

The top is 60”x74” and it was a purchased pattern called Hillside Houses. It is not MY pattern and you can find it by googling it if you are interested in it.

I was able to recently quilt my sis and her husband’s blue/green bargello quilt - and this batting was left over from that king size batting for when I quilted a queen size quilt.

The top was made with all solids. I think if I had chosen all blenders, it could also look very nice as well. I’m not sure if it would be as nice as with solids - but not sure. Maybe I’ll try it and see what I think. We’ll see.

That’s it for now!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
