Mid August Garden Update

Of course I had to write this one!

Yes, I just got back to Poland, but in the meantime things grew and grew!

I had asked our son, Tim, if he would come over and water every day and keep things alive.

And so he did. I do have a couple of weeks of weeding and getting caught back up in the garden. I didn’t ask him to weed, nor did I expect him to do that.

The biggest change of all is that we have some corn ready to eat! Yeah!

I had been thinking about it our trip and I had hoped that we hadn’t missed it, but thankfully I hadn’t missed it!

I planted two kinds of corn - a bicolor and a yellow.

Here are some of the pumpkins - this year I mostly planted small pumpkins - either sugar sweet pie pumpkins or small Jack Be Little ones that are miniature.

The weeds that will soon be pulled.

Zucchini

Yellow wax and long green pole beans

Sunflowers - several different colors and heights.

Flowers along the fenceline

Flowers on the back patio are looking tired.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
