"Garden of Quilts" Quilt Show in New Port Richey! - by Rachael!

On Friday, Ken and I were able to head over to New Port Richey to the Garden of Quilts at the Aquatic Center there, where the whole entire complex seemed to have been taken over by the quilters of West Pasco!

That guild is an absolutely amazing working machine. Every person seemed to have a job, know what it was, and to do it!

I was asked to bring a presentation, and I chose to talk about panels. I love panels, and I feel like sometimes we get stuck with what to do with them, so I gave what we hope was a fun, informative talk about panels!

But, in between the two talks, Ken and I had time to run around see the show. I snatched a few pictures of some of the entries as I was running around, trying to get things snagged on my camera, to reference later.

Here are some of these photos.

Appreciation for quilts really should be done in person, but at least way you can see some of the huge diversity and depth that this quilt guild has! Plus, if you didn’t get to go, you can at least see SOME of the beauty Ken and I were blessed to behold with our own two eyes!

If you can attend a quilt show in person, please consider doing it!

Thank so much for coming along with us on our journey!

Have a great dayt wherever you are reading this!
