Collera Cottage in Dade City needs YOUR handiwork items for the Pasco County Fair 2026!
We are looking for all kinds of things - from quilts and other sewing items like bags, and clothing items (including quilted jackets or sweatshirts), and crocheted/knitted things! Check out what we had last year - here are just a few of the things we had.
The Pasco County Fair starts in a couple of weeks and we will need to be setting up Collura Cottage shortly before it opens.
Collura Cottage is where all the handicrafts and food are showcased.
ENTRY DATES: Sat. February 7th: 9am till 3pm at the fairgrounds or you may drop off Fair Entries at Quilted Twins on Thursday Feb, 5th, from 10 am to 3 pm. On Friday Feb 6th and Saturday Feb, 7th all entries need to be taken to the fairgrounds from 9 am to 3 pm. Pasco County Fairgrounds are located at 36722 St. Rd. 52, Dade City. Items will need to be taken to the Collura Cottage at the fairgrounds.
so if you have some amazing handcrafts that you want to submit, the fair needs them!
Why put your stuff in the fair?
If you want to help expose others to our beautiful world of creativity, it is imperative to share your work so people can see it! You never know who will be inspired. It could be an adult, or even a child who sees something and something starts niggling in the back of his/her mind to want to learn to make such a thing!
I know that I was exposed to some beautiful applique quilts at the Alaska State Fair back in the early 2000s - and it was probably the first time that I saw a quilt that I really wanted to make! They were beautiful and I wanted to learn how to make such artwork!
So, if you are willing to share your beautiful items with others so they can enjoy it and be inspired, please check out the link shown above and make those first steps towards sharing with the rest of the fair-goers to the Pasco County fair.
So, you can bring your items to us at Quilted Twins on the Thursday, Feb. 5, from 10 am to 3 pm. Otherwise, of course, you can bring to the Fairgrounds in Dade City!
The Fair starts on Monday, Feb. 16, so time is growing short!
