June 2026 Strips cutting Report
I did cut some more once again. While I cut, I did not cut for hours and hours. And that is reflected once again, in this report. Why? I think it is piling up on me. :)
I know. That’s all I did.
The totals for the month of June are as follows:
2.5” - 0.91 lb
2” - 0.73 lb
1.5” - 1.06 lb.
This makes for the totals for 2026 to be this.
And since I started keeping track back in 2016. That’s a lot of cutting!
I currently have several of my 16 patch blocks ready to make up into tops. I also have worked on coming up with some more new designs to use up more 2.5” strips. I’m really trying to focus on cutting that size currently as I have so many 2” ones and I feel like the 2.5” strips series is really “just beginning”. :)
That’s funny, actually. It’s well on its way to making it as big as my 2” series. Here is my 2” series with the folders showing.
And so can know that I’ve not forgotten this series. I am working on it - but especially the 2.5” series. I can only do so many things at any given time. I am really working on using up the Stephanie Slewinski fabric and then back to the airplane series AND scrap quilts. All. at. the.same time. It can get to be impossible, actually. So, I’m focusing on one at a time. The last few days it is the fabric by Stephanie Slewinski as I'm feeling like I’m getting closer to finishing up that fabric. But as always, when I get to the end of this kind of series, I may just choose to make quilts with smaller pieces. Ahem.
Anyway, thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.
I know this strips cutting report isn’t a real exciting report, but if I don’t take the time to do the report, I just may not do any cutting at all - and then I’ll just be piling up even more things to do!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
