Next Ten Charity tops #91-100

I’ve been trying to figure out something - a sort of goal for myself to keep myself from doing so many of these tops all at once! The pressure on myself - which is 100% self inflicted, BTW - is incredible and I need to figure out something or a goal to mitigate some of that. I don’t want to live like that this year.

So I’m considering making myself STOP making charity tops (out of the things in that room upstairs, remember how it looks?) when I finish 10 a week. This would give me a rather large goal, but small enough to actually leave me time to work on my fun stuff. And I only leave it this high because I have so many to try to finish up and once I get that room upstairs back in order, I will feel so much better!

I’m putting that picture here.

Here are the next ten tops

Here’s another picture - after I added these last two groups of tops. I moved a container and another container and I’m getting ready to fill this last one shown - it’s pretty empty right now.

Due to the absolute mess in this room, I’ve made a decision to go this week and work on taping up some boxes which are already in the room and then stacking them high. I may not even really sort anything - but then I may - as I put them in boxes. Depends on how much time it takes.

But if I use boxes, I can stack them on top of themselves and go high. I can’t even get to part of the places where I can store things in there because it is so chaotic. So I feel much better because I think I can make order out of this chaos in a few hours of work in here. I’ll show you afterwards. I will personally feel so much better once this is done. Having a plan is half the battle on how I feel about this room. Once I get them all boxed up, I can then either empty half a box a week or bring a whole box home and work on it. But in the meantime, it won’t be so depressing/discouraging in that room.

I have one more container in my long arm room, stored under the long arm. I can use that to fill up with charity tops, and then, naturally, as the need arises, I can use my storage space in the long arm room where I currently have charity tops to refill. It’s a shelf my husband put up towards the top of the room where I was able to put 120 tops/backings last fall.

Maybe you remember. I’ll remind you here.

This photo was taken the week of November 11, 2025 when I had all the tops to meet my goal for 2026 up here matched up with backings.

I have been working from these for this year’s charity tops - from the right, working backwards towards the wall on the left. As there becomes more space, and the need, I can and will refill this spot as well.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on my journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
