October 2026 Strips Cutting Report

Wow. This month just flew by.

I did not really realize how fast this month was going to go!

But it did. Before I turned around, it was time to write up another report!

I adid a lot of sewing in the last few weeks, esp. charity tops. When I do that, I create a lot of leftovers from the pieces that I had previously cut. So, I got busy and trimmed.

Here’s what I did.

2.5” - 7.61 lbs.

2” - 1.98 lbs.

1.5” - 1.43 lbs.

Here’s the chart showing what I’ve cut this year.

Here are the totals since I started. By now I have surpassed last year’s totals. So now we will see how many more I do. It will all depend on how many other things I can find in my sewing room.

I know these are boring posts but they keep me going. They provide me structure and accountability. I know it’s simple, but the very thought that I’ve got to write about how I’m doing in a week or two, makes me drag out the pieces and start chopping! :)

So thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey. Below I am going to put 3 of my 2” strips quilts, just in case you have forgotten some of these quilts I’ve made. I will link to the patterns. These three use 2” strips.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
