"Pinwheels on Display" - a finished quilt

I did finish up this quilt - and I named it Pinwheels on Display.

I used my 2.5” strips in browns and other fallish colors including orange, yellow, dark blues, greens, dark reds and reds, tans, etc.

My husband, naturally told me he really loves this one!

This quilt is made up of ONE block.

The block looks like this: It is actually made up of four blocks that are 8” finished. This means that this set of 4 measures 16” square in the finished quilt.

I decided to quilt this one with an overall swirl and curl in a loose configuration.

This quilt finishes at 96” square. If you wanted to make it longer and not square, just add another two rows. It would make it quite long, however. But the good thing about that is is that it would use up a lot of strips AND it would be long enough to cover your pillows.

It’s a very rich, fall earth tones quilt and would bring in a lot of warmth into your home.

Looking up the quilt as it is hanging on the line.

Here you can see some of the quilting.

Close ups of the blocks

And here is the quilt roll.

I wrote up a pattern for you so you can download if you wish.

It’s here.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
