Made it Safely back to Poland

We did make it safely back to Poland and I began unpacking our suitcases.

Our son, Tim, came to pick us up at the airport.

I have folded all the fabric I brought back but haven’t yet put it all away and as it is now evening here in Poland, I’m tired! I got a couple of hours of sleep overnight in the plane, but that’s all. We first flew from Tampa to NY, NY and then over to Warsaw.

But now I’m fading. I hope by Monday I can really be back with it and have something nice to show you!

Oh yes, right at the end, I have a couple of days to spend more time crocheting around the granny squares that I started. I am getting close to getting finished with all the blocks.

I did leave everything in Florida once again as I wanted to work on it as kind of a filler project. I had thought I’d be done - but I’m not. But I am much closer than I was!

This is where I am now. if I stop at using 10x12 blocks it will be about a 50x70 afghan. I’m not sure what is standard for afghans, however. Before I definitely decide to stop making granny squares, I will double check that it is the nice I’m looking for.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
