We've Got a Bridal Shower Coming UP!

So what am I doing for the young couple?

The young couple is Raya and Artiem. Raya is the young lady and her fiance is Artiem.

They are getting married on October 5, and we’re holding a Bridal Shower for her on Saturday the 21st.

Now this isn’t a normal thing for people to do here in Poland, but the ladies in our church wanted to do it.

 

So we are doing it.

I decided to play around with some hearts for the wedding. I was itching to make something pretty and in the colors she is choosing which are white with green.

I forgot to take the pictures at home, so I stopped and took them outside. I’m actually liking how nice they look with the bright sunshine outside on a bench.

Then, I came across these the other day - two cosmetic bags already cut out in the colors of yellow/blue. I made them up for Raya.

I did choose to make my zippers for these from two different colors. The ladies at the local findings shop help me find zippers that would work together like that.

These are made from the You Tube video by Cindy over at Riley Blake. My husband made me some templates out of acrylic or plexiglass, so it is no big deal for me to make these these days. I shared what I made the other day when I showed you all the pretty folk floral bags I made.

I’m filling them with things - one has some perfume and lip balm and things like that. The other will have some nail polish and remover.

I’ll let you know what happens afterwards. This is definitely going to be an interculural experience for me!

But I wanted to show you what I’ve made and have been working on for her!
