These are what I completely finished this week!

I took two week’s worth to the building - I knew I needed to do it before 20 became 30. That becomes a much bigger deal!

Getting the quilts made is only part of it. Then I wash, let air dry, photograph them, take them to the building and then later distribute them which has its own set of challenges. But first, of course, is “get them made!”

I then took a quick picture of the whole lot so far. This is a pile that includes 60 quilts finished in 2019 plus some that were leftover from earlier this year. I had almost NO adult type quilts back in January so I’m very happy that at least half of of these are for ‘tweens and older. I don’t mind the kids’ of course, but I found that I had nothing for ladies - which was a shame! I had mostly kids’ leftover in January - so I still have those to distribute. It is better to have a nice mix of ladies/men’s, young adult and kids’ quilts to choose from. A lot of these current patterns can really be for anyone except pretty much young children. They probably aren’t going to choose a relatively boring brown and green quick strippy design like you see on the top of the right hand pile in the picture above!

At home, the good thing is that I did manage to get all the rest sandwiched that I need for now, to reach my goal for 2019. It helped use up a lot of the misc. backing pieces I had and left my mind much more clear about what I have for the batches starting in January. I have saved some more of the really fun and pretty backings for next year’s groups…can’t wait to use it!

Actually that isn’t right. I was lying in bed last night thinking about this and realized I wrote the wrong numbers on there. These are quilts 41-60. 61-70 are in my living room at the moment all in a nice stack. It gets confusing and I suppose it d…

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
