"Radiant Cross" wall hanging size added!

I know that many of you read here but aren’t on Facebook so I felt like I should take today’s blog post and mention that I did work up a plan for a wall hanging size of the Radiant Cross.

It looks like this without a border:

It is 42”x 54”and the blocks are 6” instead of 12” as in the larger one.

42”x54” without any borders at all You could simply border it with something dark.

I went ahead and added this one to the pattern, so you can go ahead and re-download it - and it should have the new information at the bottom of the pattern including fabric requirements and sizes.

This one is 50”x62”. the yardage is on the pattern. I prefer it with a border - but you may not.

If you prefer the look with borders, this one is with the brown and red borders, but it does make it bigger. Not everyone wants one this big (measurements given under the drawing shown). I may actually work up an even smaller one, but not at this moment.

I do not usually do this, however. If you notice, the patterns I share with you, I’ve already made up into quilts - or at least, tops!

I think I can say up to now, 100% of the time. When you look at the picture on the front of the pattern - this a “real quilt” you are looking at.

Oftentimes when I see free patterns for download, I see only digital projections of quilts - no one has actually made it and then taken pictures of a quilt made with that pattern - at least the designer didn’t.

I feel a little bit like I’m cheating here by doing this. But I hope to get to it soon. I think I’d like to make one for the walls in our church building! I wanted to kind of “take care of this little task” right now while I’m thinking about it and people have asked for it.

The updated pattern is here!

If you did miss the post from a couple of days ago, I did post a big “Radiant Cross” pattern and quilt - and that post is here.

So, what I actually “do” today (after I fixed the pattern this morning!) …well, I worked on..what else? charity quilts!

What I really wanted to tell you about is the Polish elections that we just had a couple of days ago - but I decided not to look like a fool and won’t. We actually stay very far away from politics here! No one ever seems to like their politicians - whoever is in office! (sound familiar?)

Anyway…you have a great day and try to enjoy today!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
