Need help with a name!

I have a bunch of 2.5” strips rolls in my house. Not a lot of them - but about 10, maybe. Before this quilt, I had not used any. Ever. Yep. That’s true!

(I have used 2.5” strips obviously - but I just cut them myself.)

I had opened one of them but wanted to use it! The fun was breaking it open but it was just sitting in my sewing room, sadly, open and falling apart.

This is a no name strip roll that I got back when my sis and I bought a big stash of fabric back in 2015. Unfortunately, there were only 5 different fabrics in this roll. That was a bit frustrating to me, because I do like variety! However, I decided to use up one of these rolls…before I did anything else or project.

I went back to that old block that I first saw from Missouri Star on You Tube - that was called Ribbon Star. Jenny mentioned that it was an old block. I noticed if you take the block apart, it is really 4 different “tulip block segments” put together to form a big block. Anyway…I like it, and worked well with this “not much variety” strips roll.

I alternated the blocks with a large half square triangle. I also put sashing and cornerstones. The effect I was going was a subtle look by using the soft pink as the other half of the half square triangle.

The biggest problem is that I do not know what to call it.

Can you help me?

I do have enough left of this one strip’s roll to use for binding - so I plan on doing that.

I will have the pattern written up by the time I get this one quilted - which I hope to do in the next week or so.

I know this one is short and sweet - but that’s all there is to say about this particular top! I just need some help with a name. Any ideas? Put them in the comments! I appreciate it very much!

And that’s it for today! Have a great day!

Stay safe!
