Geometrics 9 - orange and white baby quilt
Just for the challenge, I wanted to make one with orange. After all, I have used pink, light blue, sage green, red, black and gray. I have another one planned that uses some other blues - but hadn’t used orange. So, orange it was!
You can tell it is basically the same as the red, black and gray one that I recently finished (#5). Orange though - orange and white. I was trying for a light and airy feeling - and hopefully staying away from the Halloween look!
I don’t know if I succeeded in staying away from it looking like Halloween. I’m not sure if that is entirely possible with these two colors. But I tried!
The sheep weren’t really geometrics -but were in with the fabric that I got in that lot. I think the rest of it is just going in my scraps, though - there just isn’t enough design in it.
The border is a piece of 4.5” cut fabric from those pieces.
Here’s the layout!
This one is kind of small - about 47.5” x 57.5”.
Just as a review, so far I’ve made several of these as on point quilts— here they are -
So there you are! Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
Colors may vary slightly from what is portrayed. Screens vary as well as our eyes sometimes see things differently, but we've made every attempt to have the color be accurately portrayed.
