"Simple Frames" - Geometrics 10 - finished

With the next one I decided to step back from color a bit and go classic.

Black and white.

Yes. Simply black and white. Nothing else.

Here it is.

As you can tell - by the time I’m working on this one, my selection of fabrics is starting to get limited. I would have preferred to use darker fabrics for the sashings.

The blocks are just framed pieces and the sashings are just a three part sashing - more or less a “rail fence” loooooooong block. i use a white piece, then a geometrics piece and then another white piece.

I quilted with curls and swirls. It’s actually the only one that I did in this whole series with this type of quilting.

It transformed this little quilt into not quite as simple of a quilt.

It’s not a big quilt. It’s only 46”x 61”.

As usual - the quilt roll -

I still chopped part of this picture off from the bottom. If you are “not new” to this blog, you realize how most of the quilts pretty much hit the ground or close to it. This one…ha.

I have been working on the pattern and the free pattern is on the Free Patterns page. I updated the Geometrics page here.

I trust you enjoyed this “total change” from what I’ve been doing - color wise, at least!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
