Now is YOUR chance to ask!
I realized one thing - maybe there are some things you would like me to cover on this blog.
So, here’s YOUR chance…
In the comments, if there is something you want me to write about more or explain better, please let me know. I’m eager to know what it is.
While I don’t mind doing tutorial type things, I am very aware that if a lot of people have already done it, I kind of feel like it’s a waste of my time to do it again - unless I have a specific twist or take on whatever it is. “Googling” is a word - though I bet you can’t use it in Scrabble yet!
So, let me know- what specific things do you want to read about that I don’t already do?
Just leave a comment for me - and I’ll see what I can do about tackling that topic.
Do you know what this is?
Take a guess!
Well, I’ve been cleaning out and cleaning up - not just cutting my scraps, but refolding and making my fabric rooms (oops - GUEST ROOMS) presentable again! At least one of them is - though if we were to have a guest, I’d have to move about 20 quilts away from the bed. The other room is being worked on.
In the meantime, through all of it, I’ve been putting my upcycled greens in all one place. Looking, searching, putting it together. This is what I’ve got! Once again - simply way too much!
Here’s another question for you - how many quilts do you think I will make before my upcycled greens series is done?????
The answer for me - at this point— I have absolutely no idea. I do know that I do not have as much green as I had blues - but I will probably want to combine green with other colors more often than I did blue, just because.
What do you think? Any opinions? Guesses?
Only time will tell. Only God knows at this point, since He knows the future. I have started planning them, however, and hope to get going on at least one or two of them pretty soon. NO promises on how fast I will make them. Green is fine - but I do enjoy working with blue MORE than green. Here’s to expanding my own personal comfort zone!
I’m sure I will try to do that. My greens are not nearly as comprehensive as my blues were. As a result, they will be much more of a challenge to make look nice. I know that my husband bought me a plant that has green stems, obviously and beautiful purple flowers. That is one combo I want to try if I can find enough purples!
And my other question - what is your favorite - green AND combination of colors?
This is just an update. It feels to me as if I have been wanting to get going on the greens series but it has been one thing after another that I really thought I should finish first.
But that’s all for today. let me know what you think in the comments!
Thanks. And have a great day wherever you are reading this. Stay safe!
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store!
