Yeah!

I’ve been making up some tops from Fran’s centers - the ones for children. Here are 16 of them. I’ve already sandwiched and/or quilted a few of them.

I’ve got plenty of tops to work with - so now at least, with the addition of these children’s ones, I am feeling better about the boy quilts I’ll be doing. I hadn’t originally planned on finishing children’s quilts necessarily - until lately when I realized I really needed to.

I am pretty close to using up the backing fabrics I have. I do, however, have several fabrics hopefully coming my way this week.

Otherwise, it was a beautiful Sunday - weather-wise, and while I did a little charity quilt stuff, I didn’t do much. I did quilt two - but only while watching the latest baseball game from last night - Rays vs. Dodgers. When the game was finished, I quit sewing - in order to give myself a break.

I needed it, since I’ll work hard this week on these and taking a day off helps a person feel refreshed and ready to go at it again!

Oh - I have invested in a wrist brace - which hopefully will help my left wrist feel better at the end of this aggressive effort on my part. My sis asked me if my wrist hurts - and at first I said, “Yes”. Then I adjusted it to, “No, really - it is more like ‘I feel it’” when normally a person doesn’t actually feel their wrist, or knees, or mouth, etc. They are just there.

And there you - short and sweet. These are what I’ve been up to!

Have a great day wherever you are reading!
