A First Time NOS Fabric Blowout PLUS Pieces Blowout at the Same Time
A couple of weeks ago we were looking around the store, and realized that we had a lot of short bolt NOS (Not On Site) inventory. Now, we never mind short bolts. Some of our most fun and entertaining short bolts came from our quick trip to Atlanta last November, where we visited Quilting Treasures warehouse and we were able to walk away with a trailer bed full of short bolts.
However, sometimes the bolts are just too short and too few to entertain the idea of putting them up on the website. If we have only one short bolt, say 4 yards or less, and there’s only one of that type of bolt, we usually mark it NOS (Not on {web} Site) and put it on an appropriate shelf. We sell those to walk-in customers. Sometimes we feel like the NOS bolts start to take over our shelves.
We have gotten to that point.
So, next Tuesday in the store, we’re going to have our NOS Blowout, in combination with our Pieces Blowout.
This is going to be a two-part Fabric Blowout out of our store in two separate buildings in our Quilted Twins complex.
This what a NOS bolt looks like. NOS, as stated in the article, stands for Not On Site. This means that it does NOT appear on our website anywhere. You can see the bolt sitting on top of the row of NOS fabrics has a number — Floral—305, so it would not be a part of the blowout! The rest would all be marked down $1/yard.
—In the main fabric store, we’ll have our NOS Fabric Blowout.
Any and all of our bolts that are marked NOS will be $1 off per yard. Now, that is fabulous, phenomenal and amazing. Because our prices are already so low, that takes a $4.99/yard bolt down to $3.99/yard and $5.99/yard down to $4.99. And I know that we do, indeed, have fabric in both categories that are marked NOS.
Fabrics in the Specialty Fabric Room are not included. There are no fabrics in the “back room” that are marked NOS.
There are times when you just need to clear some shelf space and give someone the chance to look at the beauty and create something useful from your small bolts.
That day will be next Tuesday, April 27.
—At the same time in the Sewing Shop, we will be having our Pieces Blowout.
So, this will be in combination with the Pieces Blowout, where we will be offering the “pieces” that we have that are pre-priced and bagged for our “every so often blowout” at Buy three, get one free.
This is our first and possibly only time we’ll try this amazing duo deal day!
We’ll have super deals for you everywhere.
The only problem is, you have to HUNT for them. We’ve placed the NOS bolts throughout the store on the shelves. You get to locate them yourselves. It’s like a giant Easter Egg hunt. Hint: The blue NOS are on the BLUE shelf; the Floral NOS fabric bolts are on the Floral shelves, and so forth.
So, plan now to shop at Quilted Twins, 13829 US Hwy 98 ByPass, Dade City, on Tuesday, April 27, from 9:15 a.m. until 1 p.m. for these amazing deals.

Now I know that most of you reading this aren’t local and can’t get into the store. Never fear; we are working on a plan to get you involved with a whole slew of our NOS pieces as well.
