Last chance to Prepare for Noble Packages - “Weekend of Miracles”

Ewa came over and we spent Friday - at least all morning, wrapping and working on the packages. Here are some pictures. The day you are reading this - Saturday, Dec. 11, we will be taking packages to Otwock to the school where they will then be taken on to the homes. Hopefully we will get to go to one of the homes on Saturday late afternoon along with their gifts.

I’m mentioning this again because 260 of you have helped financially with this effort! (plus those who gave money in the store!)

So once again - in the morning - between 11 and 12 we will take these packages for three families.

In the afternoon, between 2 and 3 we will take these.

Then we worked on finishing up completely Family 7 which will be delivered on Sunday. We also got almost done with Family 6. We’ll get those taped up and ready to go once we get the other presents out of the living room.

And now for a lot of closeups of what we did - these are for FAMILY 6 - the Huge family of 10.

Then on Sunday - we will take these. We aren’t quite finished, but I am sure that Ewa and I will have time to finish taping up the boxes and counting them while the husbands are packing up the cars. They are the master packers. I make no claims to that.

We worked today on packing up all those misc. things you saw in the picture yesterday - from the microwave to dishes, to gloves, hats, and Lego sets. When Ewa saw the sewing machine, book and set of ‘things’ I gave them to go along with it - she was so excited. She made a set of presents that we then wrapped up all up together and she wrote on the packages 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc. We have asked to go to this place, so we are hoping to go visit them as they get their presents. We want to see the farm. I’ll do my best at getting photos, but it will be dark probably about the time we get there. Outside photos might be difficult. I’ll do what I can.

And that’s what I did for the best part of the day!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!
