Replacing my sewing machine light bulb

A few days ago I was sewing and the light started going on and off. It was quite interesting, actually, as at first I thought I had turned the machine off, but then I went to turn it on and it was turned off.

Hmm…I wondered if the machine was going to work and it did. I sewed and the machine light came on after I sewed hard and fast a bit.

Oh good, nothing is really wrong. Maybe it’s just loose in there.

Finally, the light wouldn’t come back on at all, but the machine kept working. I realized I needed a sewing machine light bulb. I had to get out the book I got when I bought it to find out how to get to it. Nope. Wouldn’t work anymore at all.

I hopped on to the computer and saw that Amazon had some - including a LED bulb of the size and wattage I needed.

I decided to go ahead and try one. I then decided that, just in case my machine doesn’t want to work well with it, I’d better buy another one of the same type that I already had.

So I did - I bought both. Thankfully both came quite quickly. I put the LED bulb in the machine and it worked well AND shone very brightly- brighter than the other one.

I put the extra one back in my container where my bobbins are and called it good.

It works…

I feel like I’m now a modern quilter!

LOL

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!
