What's happening?

A blog, by definition, is a type of on-line diary. Today’s blog post is going to feel like it.

This morning I planned 3 more quilts from panels. This afternoon I went and picked out the fabrics, making sure to check with Rachael that we have them in stock or can get them should she decide to kit up 20 or 30 into kits. That is kind of the goal - to make a lot of kits so that they will be around for a while so when someone walks into the store, they can have something interesting to choose from.

I went to the grocery store to get more supplies and some fried chicken from the deli for supper. Lots of people were shopping when I stopped by (about 3:30 pm). Oh yes. I got corn on the cob. It’s ready here in FL already. Delicious! Really tasty. Yes, even from the grocery store it was tasty - it didn’t have to be from a farmer’s market. In Poland, it’s about time to plant it.

I helped with various things for mom - but those things have nothing to do with quilting. Nothing.

The doctor stopped by and we talked with him. He’s coming by as a friend - not as a charged visit.

Let me show you some of the cool doctor/nurse fabrics we have. I think Rachael has collected a nice variety!

I think he’s earning himself a quilt, what do you think? He was pleased today with mom’s progress! She took some steps today with her walker - with my husband barely holding on to her. She still can’t turn over on the bed by herself, though. I hope that is soon!

And other things I did were fixing meals for mom, cleaning up, laundry, etc—I really didn’t do much else. I know it doesn’t make for much of a blog post, but it’s reality! I don’t want to share the quilts I’m planning until I have them ready - and they are still in the fabric stage.

One thing - I do have a collection of scraps started. I’m starting to think what I can do with them! Hmmm.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Stay safe!
