The Rest of the Customer Appreciation Month drawing PLUS

On Monday at 10 am, Rachael and crew drew the winners for the various prizes for the winners. they varied from bundle packs, to fat quarter packs and of course, the grand prizes - the quilts!

Both of the winners of the quilts were chosen by the little girls - as you can see in the Live rebroadcasts - not by either of us (Rachael or Becky).

Here is a public link to the Facebook live post so you can watch if you want.

We will be looking up names and addresses of people and getting these things on their way. There were many winners - as Rachael upped the number of prizes from 20 to over 50! You can check out that Facebook link to watch.

The ladies in the office have already begun getting those prizes out - so I don’t have a comprehensive list for you at this time. But you can listen to that link above and see if you have won something! If you have, you will be contacted for your address if you are an instore customer (we already have your address if you are an on-line customers).

It’s very difficult for me to make up a list as I’m writing from Poland. The drawing and shipping is going on in FL. (I am only shipping the two quilts!) So please go and listen to the LIVE broadcast to hear about who won these wonderful prizes!

Today - Monday - also I met with some other people and gave them quilts. I also gave some to another lady whose picture isn’t here - they are for some Ukrainian contacts.

As a result of these quilts I’ve now donated 168 quilts.

This means we now have these left -

23 single size adult/tween/teen quilts,

27 children’s single size quilts, and

0 doubles.

That means I now have only 50 quilts left!

As a result of this give-away, several people gave me/us some gifts. Let me show you.

Someone gave me some juice - that was sweet - we are drinking it.

One lady made some containers from colored glass - she had asked me which color I’d prefer - and I told her green would go very well for us - so this is what I received. I appreciate them so much as she made them just for me! This is a lady I’ve known for years - since her boys were small - now they are upper teens.

One lady brought a box of tea bags - which I went immediately and put it in the kitchen at the church building.

One lady said that she has some fabric for me - and gave it to me today! Here it is! I haven’t separated it out yet - but that will be fun. I just got it today (Monday).

So you see - it’s not all about just giving things away! I do get things in return. :) It is always totally unexpected - but I appreciate the gestures of kindness.

The people are very grateful - and so happy with the quilts - and that makes it worth it! I am so happy to get to meet some different people who have never gotten quilts before.

Then Ewa brought over some more quilt tops today that her mom had finished. Here they are.

And there you are - that’s what my day was about!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!
