Another Box Arrived!

Yes It Did! I got another box the other day - and I finally opened it after I had all the quilts taken to church.

I just felt like I had enough on my plate and didn’t want to open the box until I had ‘less stuff” in my living/dining room.

So, I just pushed it off to the side - and dealt with the box just yesterday evening - once I started getting ahold of my floor (mopping it with my new Bissell mop) and most of the clutter moved to closer to where it should be.

The “clutter” is mostly fabric/quilting related, by the way. I moved the small pieces all together to one single plastic container where I will continue to trim scraps an hour a day.

So here is what I got from the box -

another 8 large quilt tops,

2 medium size tops and

4 small tops and some scraps.

For now, these tops are going in a container. I hope before the end of December that I will have added borders to each of these tops to get them the size I want/need.

But…

For now, I want a little break from charity quilts, so they are going “out of sight” for now!

Fran also stuck a few strips of scraps in the box - and I’ll gladly use them!

Just wanted you to see what goodies I got from Fran within the last few days!

Also…I was able to get back to my sewing machine today - for which I am SO grateful! It’s fun! I am wanting to jump back into the UP Greens series and begin working on some more 2.5” (not 2”) strips ones. I want to do the 2.5” ones simply because I have so many bags of them and want to make them into something pretty, interesting, or cool.

OH…the floor - here are a couple of photos - I’m working on it. I want to get it all back to equally shiny and clean! It may take a couple of weeks at an hour a day - as there is a lot of ‘gunk’ on it and my cordless mop only works for 15 min. or so until it needs to be recharged for 4 hours! I don’t entirely mind, though. It was an experiment.

I had wanted a ‘corded’ kind, but they were a completely different price point than this one was. I thought it would be best to see if this is something I actually would use.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this! Thanks for coming along with me on my quilting/sewing journey!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!

Here’s one of the beauties we have! These panels are simply stunning!
