For months now those of you who shop exclusively online have been left out of being able to get our “one of a kind” beautiful fabrics that come through our doors, often times sold in the pieces section. As of right now, this is no longer the case.

In fact, some of our fabrics are EXCLUSIVE to you. Those of you who shop only online will have access to fabrics that will be unavailable to people who come to us in the store. (Of course, they can order online and we’ll let them pick them up at the store.)

Why? Well, this is two-fold. The ones who walk in, already have access to many trays of cut pieces and they do so seem to love them.

Secondly, these will be organized in a way that we, as the staff at Quilted Twins, will be able to access, but if you let the masses rumble through them, we’ll never be able to locate them when someone orders them. So, we’re keeping them safely out of anyone’s way, except the trained staff.

So, what are we doing? Let me explain.

When Becky and I started Quilted Twins, we were able to buy out several ladies’ stashes. We went through that, and Becky sent a bunch of fabrics to herself. Some of the pieces were just too small for me to pack up later and send. So, I started ruler folding them and putting them onto shelves and into bins.

I just kept going and going. Then Becky said, “Rachael, I have enough fabric in Poland. Please don’t send me anymore.” What’s a body to do? Well, that’s the reason we started Quilted Twins, which has quickly evolved into a much greater store and bigger job than we had ever dreamed.

However, I want my house back. My husband wants his house back, and we want to be able  to have guests over and use the bedrooms and the media room, all of which currently are FILLED to the brim with fabrics.

So, I’ve started taking each piece now and measuring it and putting up a seriously short description on the site. Remember, there’s only one of each of these.

If you shop Destash groups on Facebook, then you’ll love this page. In fact, it’s far better and easier than Destash groups. Just grab the fabric you want and put it into your cart. Check out and it’ll be yours.

But remember, there’s only one of each piece.

I’m starting with 60 or 70 pieces. It’ll be like the Last chance packs and panels. It’s a place for us to put up things that are random, might be older, out of print, or just a one-of-a-kind piece.

Please don’t ask us for more. If it’s gone, then you have to wait until you see it again, if you see it again. We can’t possibly go through the 100+ tubs that we have to go through to get my house useable again.

So.. drum roll, please.. let me present……………………..

CUT PIECES!!!!!! Yippee! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. We tried it when we first began and called it “fabric by the piece” but it was too hard to keep up and build the business, too.

Don’t wait for me email you that I put up more pieces. Just pretend that I’m putting up new pieces every day. Check HERE daily. I’m going to attempt to put up at least 10 new pieces daily. Of course, I’ll fail at times, but if you check daily, you’ll be sure to find some new fabrics at times. I have well over 100 tubs and bins and boxes to go through and get up.

Sizes of the pieces range from 6” to just over 3 yards. Each piece will be sold as that – just a single piece. These fabrics will not be cut, and I won’t go and take more pictures, measure repeats or any such thing. It’s just too much for too little return. I simply can’t split myself into two people. Oh yes, I do have a twin, don’t I? She just happens to be on the other side of the globe and can’t be here to help me with this project! She’s busily creating projects of her own!

Most of these fabrics will be $5.99/yard with some less and a couple more, but none of this monkeying around with $8, $9, $10 and $11/yard that I’m seeing on destash groups. It’s fast, easy and fun. We’re here to save you time and money.
