Fran had sent two boxes back this past summer and only one had arrived.

She was a little worried. I wasn’t particularly concerned. After all, it was summer in Poland. Here, people take vacation time seriously!

I had no idea how to even go about finding it. I just waited.

A few days ago now I got a private message via Messenger/Facebook from a lady I didn’t know telling me I had box at the post office!

Wow. That was a first. A postal working sending me a PM about a box? That was a new one for me! Maybe not for you but I didn’t know this lady though we do have a mutual friend - a former postal worker.

I pushed my chair back from the computer, slipped on my shoes and went over there - pretty quickly!

The weather was not all that great, but if someone took the time to tell me privately that I had a box waiting, I would get wet!

And sure enough - there was the box!

No, I’ve not managed to finish up all the rest of the ones that Fran sent me lately. She sometimes, like the rest of us, goes in spurts and sends me a lot, and then has other things going on and it’s months til the next box. So I am very happy for these, whenever I can get them!
