Featuring Henry Glass Fabrics…another Jaftex Company

As I work down the number of BIG boxes left in our tent, I am getting eager. It is hard to describe. I am now down to only 25 boxes left to open. I’d like to open 2 more the day you read this - and when I get to 20 - wow - things are going to get intense from my point of view.

Let’s go to where I am - 25/110 - so I have only 23% left to open - and each of the boxes I open and match up quilts with pillowcases now - wow…it’s getting so much closer. For those of you who are wondering, I am estimating about 25 quilts per box (lately it’s been more, but it depends on what else is in the box and when it was packed - but that’s about 600 quilts left to process! While that is a lot, each 100 is 100 fewer that I have to do! Right now it’s been 4 of us working on it at once - so we can whip out 60-100 in a couple of hours (packaging).

As a result, I need to finish up the special blog posts as my way of saying Thanks to Scott Fortunoff of Jaftex Fabrics for helping us in getting all these boxes of quilts over here! It has been amazing!

Today’s company is Henry Glass! This may be one of the companies you’ve heard of. Jaftex, which is Scott’s family’s company, acquired it in the 1990s.

Their website can be found here.

They have plenty of free projects - both current and archived. If you ever get where you are in a sort of blah in your quilting, just take some time to check out these free projects. You do not have to use the fabrics shown - you can use your own.
