We had a Film crew here!
A couple of weeks ago someone contacted my husband about coming to Poland to do a documentary about the actions Christians (including missionaries and pastors) with regards to Ukraine.
They asked him if they could come over and interview/video - and he said “Yes.”
They ended up coming on Tuesday afternoon - the afternoon of the day that our son and his wife arrived in Poland. I was expecting three guys. When they all walked in the door, it seemed like they just kept coming! It was humorous as there was almost NO ROOM for anyone.
I think the whole group of them totaled 8.
They ended up coming over at about 2 pm and stayed til almost 5. Mostly it was an interview. I didn’t even try to clean up the mess in the living room. I was 100% overwhelmed with the idea of having someone here, the amount of stuff I have along with the company (even if they are my own kids). I figured “Let’s see what they can do with this, but I am running at max.”
So they did come. Here are some photos.
In the end, they moved things around a bit, took photos from various angles and interviewed us at length. I have no idea how much they will use - probably just a few minutes - if that.
We were the last of the people the group interviewed. They had already been to about 12 different groups of people and talked with them. I have no idea what all and to whom they talked. They were interested in interviewing various Christian groups and finding out what they were doing to he
We were able to show them some of your quilts and explain all about the quilt packs we are making.
As it was getting hotter and hotter throughout the afternoon with all the men here - I was just sitting there kind of watching the goings on. It had already been a big day with Tim and Claire arriving - and to top it off with a film crew and my TOTAL MESS of a living room and very full dining room - where we had been working on vinyl packs.
Needless to say when it was all done - I was too. I was so tired.
With my kids here things have picked up and days are flying by. I’m barely sitting down-or at least by comparison to how my normal days are!
In addition my garden needs some serious attention! With hot weather and regular watering, my plants are growing!
