Notes and Photos from Ukraine

Lately Mike has made several trips to Ukraine with loads of stuff.

Here are some photos that we’ve gotten back from people once things have been delivered. I am not getting that many right now with photos of quilts in them and I am trying to show photos to you mainly with quilts in them simply because the photos with JUST food are of course, interesting, but at the same time, they tend to look the same.

And I know some of you want to see YOUR quilt in Ukraine or with Ukrainians!

So…here are the photos I’ve gotten.

Let me first show you a note that lady sent me - Angelina. I put a note with each quilt pack and give my VIBER number so that they can write me and/or send photos if they so desire. A few do. Since I write the letter in English, I find it interesting that some actually do respond.

Here are more people with quilts and various things.

Do you remember my mentioning that Mike took a mixer to Ukraine? Probably at least some of you do. A church near the Polish border makes food for the people in the eastern part of Ukraine that have been under attack. They needed some help with making the dough for the pierogi and other things they are making. So, we got them an industrial size machine.

Here it is in action. They are speaking in their language - assuming it’s Ukrainian - but they are indeed grateful.

Thanks again for coming along on this journey with me! Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
