More Quilts - Mail Call

I know - it’s kind of over now, right? But I have been getting boxes in the mail during the months of October and the first week of November.

I put them all to the side to deal with ‘later’. Well, later finally came.

I opened them all.

These are all for Ukraine. I will bundle them all up to be sent - not in the load that went this week, but in the load that will go in a couple more weeks and probably the last load my husband takes this year. We know we have more money coming in from our mission board which we asked them to hold so we can spend it next year - so he will, no doubt, go again in January or February, weather permitting. But these quilts should find their way to Ukrainians well before then.

There are some beauties here.

First the small ones - I will pack them up as baby quilts with a hooded towel, baby wipes, etc.

Then here are the larger ones which will go into quilt bundles as I’ve done for the other ones. Since I am basically ‘out of’ blankets and pillows, etc, I will just order exactly what I need to go with these. I kept back probably 50 pillowcases just for this occasion, so I can use those.

I have been contemplating donating some more of my own quilts (I chose about 10 of my own right at the very beginning to pack up and send). I could easily choose another 20 and not miss them. LOL. We’ll see. Be sure to click the arrow to move to the next quilt.

These came from various individuals and groups. I normally don’t show all this detail, but these were mailed to me directly and not with the whole big load. When I was inundated with quilts, I couldn’t share with you - I just couldn’t - it was too much.

But now I can.

Thank you ladies (and any gents who might have helped). I know your quilts will be appreciated this winter to anyone who receives them. They can’t help but love them!

Thanks again - everyone! I appreciate all you have done!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
