Ten More Tops! Yes...Again

Well, I needed to work my bags in my sewing room (I have 7 LARGE bags of these tops) which have the borders cut out and so they are wrapped up and stacked in bags. I’ll get a photo and put it here.

But once I got the rest of the ‘junk’ out of the sewing room, I just wanted to have less stuff in the way, and yes, 7 large shopping bags do create some mass - taking up floor space. The only way to actually deal with it, is to actually just finish up the tops - then I can move them out.

Anyway - here they are. Once again, click on the arrows to get to the next one to see what I did. It’s pretty much added borders.

This is the nice pile of these ten tops on the table with the puzzle. My husband is supposed to be working on a frame for it so we can remove it since it isn’t supposed to be a living room decoration! :) (I’m hoping it can go on my left wall in the long arm room.)

With this group of 10, this makes…I don’t know how many new tops I’ve gotten finished up ready to quilt in the last couple of weeks.

Plenty.

I already had over 100 tops in the long arm room - but this is giving me the next half again. Secretly I’m hoping to do a second 120 (once the first 120 is done). Am I crazy? I have no idea, but having the tops all ready is a big part of it. Still, I probably wouldn’t have focused on them quite now if they weren’t sitting in the way in my sewing room. It is more or less an act of survival - so I can move freely in that room - that I’m finishing up these tops now.

You know how when you uncover a bunch of unfinished projects - sometimes you just want to get the easy things done quickly? That’s how I’ve been on this. I’m about over that by now, though…and ready to move on to other things. I will be starting to show you other things soon. I promise.

I will admit that I get frustrated that I can’t seem to get more done every day. However, I am the kind of person that I can plod - just doing things every day until things get done. I figure eventually it should all get done if the Lord gives me strength and time. And if not…well, it won’t be.

Thanks again for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading.
