Twas the week before Christmas...

And I’ve been making some embroidery pictures and shoe bags. I’ve also been distributing the 54 cosmetic bags that people purchased.

It’s coming. Yes, it is. Christmas, that is. We haven’t decorated yet, though the boxes are all in the living room.

There’s plenty that I’ve NOT done, but some things I have done.

Just lately I made this design with a black background AND a red. Here’s the red. I don’t think I took a photo of the black. I took it to church this morning and gave it to a lady who loved it.

This one will be used on a bulletin board at church.

The design is found here at emblibrary.com - and the design is here. I did trim the threads before I gave it to my friend who will hopefully use it on a bulletin board.

Before I go any further -Thank YOU so much for coming to the store in Florida last Thursday to the book signing and trunk show with Diane Murtha. Turnout was great and you all were a receptive audience.

Rachael did some Facebook lives. Here are a couple of those links.

Part 1 and part 2 and part 3. I can’t make a direct link here because this website provider doesn’t allow for such things, but if you click the active links, I THINK you will be able to go there.

But here is a picture from this day - Rachael with Diane

Our weather has changed back into above freezing and just rainy. It’s not very nice for taking pictures of my long quilts, so I am holding off, but I’ll admit, I’m getting impatient and am thinking of getting out there and raking under the line and seeing if I can help that area dry off a little faster.

It snowed in November while my husband was in Central Asia and didn’t get to getting the leaves up (nor did I). We had snow from then until about a week ago when the big thaw started. Right now it’s just wet.

And kind of gray and overcast. Here is a photo of today from inside KFC looking out the window. This is about 2 pm or about an hour and half before sunset— really gray and wet but not actually raining.

So there you are. I’ve had a few quilts on the long arm lately. Let me show you what I’m talking about. They will move automatically or you can make it go faster by clicking on the arrows.

There’s another on the machine as I write - hopefully tomorrow I will be able to work on it.

And now you know!

Thanks again for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
