First Ever All Florida Shop Hop Begins on March 1

Well….I came to Florida this year to both help mom and see my sis and help in the store during this first ever All Florida Shop Hop that we are participating in.

So what have I been doing for this?

Well, I designed 3 Shop Hop quilts. Of the three, I did make up one of them completely but I didn’t quilt any of them! I didn’t make the first two.

These are they.

Then I prepared some fat quarter bundles of Shop Hop fabrics PLUS some tropical fabric bundles of name brand fabrics.

I also then designed and finished this lap quilt to go be ready for the Shop Hop customers. I did not do the quilting, however.

Then I did prepare the kits for these as well. Plus I helped cut and prepare lots of fabric for the Shop Hop.

Other than that, I’ve been sitting around with my feet up!

For those of you who are participating in the Shop Hop, please remember to check the magazine for our hours.

We are having extended hours on many days, so please plan on taking advantage of them. If a group of 8 or more want to come at 8 am, Rachael and Ken will make special plans to be at the store and welcome you!

 
 

We also have put up a lot of Florida-ish looking prints and packs to make it easy for people to find them as they drop in and out of the store on their quest to get to all the stores.

So….if you are a Shop Hopper OR NOT - you are certainly welcome to visit the store. You may see a few extra fun things happening. It is all a work in process and since we’ve not had one of these before, it is all new to us!

Come in and enjoy the fun! Just for starters, we will open at 10 am on Thursday instead of closer to noon. Come on in and check us out!
