My husband got Himself a BIG project

Mike landed in the states on Monday and today (Wed) he went and got himself a project plane.

Yes. A Project.

I thought at least some of you might find it interesting.

Yes, he is a pilot.

Yes, he is an airplane mechanic.

So, yes, this will be a project for a while.

I don’t want to speculate on why, how, or when but this is something he has wanted his whole life. At the age of 65, he has decided that this is the one for him to work on.

Planes came up a few days ago in the store when we were cutting fabric. Someone had some pretty interesting Cessna fabric. (I think it was from Spoonflower.) We don’t have that particular fabric, but we do have several super nice ones.

Is anyone reading this a pilot - private or commercial - or have a relative who is one?

I know some of you do have family members with this interest or livelihood - would love hear about if you’d care to share.

My husband’s family has flying in their blood. I remember one time when sitting around a dinner table with them, as I looked around, all the men had pilot’s licenses - his dad, brother, brother in law and Mike, my husband.

And that’s our excitement for today. It was enough for one day!
