A whole SLEW of tops Arrived!

On Saturday afternoon I was sewing in my sewing room (working on adding some borders to some charity tops) and I received a note from Ewa - saying that Robert was on his way back from his MIL’s apartment and had some tops for me. We worked it out and he stopped by and dropped off a BUNCH of tops.

We had already locked our gate for the day, so I just went to meet him at the gate and brought back the bags by myself (he volunteered to help me take them to the house if I would open the gate but I didn’t have the key with me). I told him that I did need to move around a bit as my back had a stabbing ache in it from sitting in front of the machine most of the day so walking around felt good.

Oh my!

Here they are. I wrote Ewa and told her that she and her mom are Machines!!!

Remember last year when we went to the fabric store and bought a lot of fabric? Well, I cut off 5 meters from a lot of the bolts and gave them to Ewa so she could cut them into squares for her mom - so she could have something to sew up. Well, that was a LOT of fabric. I figured I gave her over 100 meters of fabric - maybe it was more like 200 - don’t remember now. Consequently, Ewa has been cutting them into squares and matching them with things they are managing to find and making me (our organization) tops which can be given to local people.

These small ones are the centers for the ones I add borders to.

This table has both larger ones and smaller ones.

Here is the pile of the larger tops.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey of mine.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
