2023 Charity Quilts #71-80

Here they go! The next ten!

I’ve decided to just go ahead and show all of these. Then I can put them out of my mind for a while. I’ll be working on preparing for the Give-away, but for maybe a few weeks I can sort of “not think about charity quilts very much”. That would be fine with me.

I think that statement might come across wrong. I don’t mean it wrong, but once you finish a big project like this, putting out of my mind for 2 or 3 weeks is just fine.

Once again, here we have a Scrapbook design, some from Fran, some from Ewa and her mom and a couple from some of you - along with the Big Fabric Haul. I like to have a nice variety! That makes me smile!

I am showing the bindings here - maybe you can see that I truly did make them scrappy. Almost all of them were quite scrappy. Only a couple or maybe three or four were not. In that case, it was usually because I had a lot of one color strips already cut and I located them all at the same time. In that case, I used them and didn’t make a scrappy binding. I remember doing that with a black one - though there were several different blacks. There was also a plaid one - but I think that is another group of finished quilts.

Ewa’s mom has become a specialist at these 6” block quilts. I think they will be very popular! Of course each of these quilts has a full backing that is only one fabric. This makes them a very nice double sided quilt - one side that is patchwork, and the back side, a single fabric - but always something interesting.

Oh….

I’ll be showing a few pictures from past charity quilt actions in the rest of these charity quilt pics for this year. These are what make all the work “worth it”.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading.
