Quilted Twins wins Best of Florida contest for Craft and Hobby Stores!

We were delighted to get an email about 3 weeks ago now that we won the Best of Florida award in the Craft and Hobby department, but we were told NOT to publish it until now.

We would like to thank you all for voting for us. We really had no idea how we were doing. We were never told how we were doing during the entire contest.

I would go to try to check, but we never had a clue. So, we are so grateful to tell you that we won!

Of course, we couldn’t have done it without those of you who voted for us!

Now we have found out that this contest is run by a marketing company, and like those books of poetry that solicit poets, so that the poets can submit their poems, and then the company can publish them and then sell them their own books of novels, this marketing firm has tried to get us to purchase a media package of over $7000. Of course, since our goal is to SAVE everyone money, and not COST us money, we turned them down! We figure that you all have done an amazing job of letting people know we’re here, so we decided against paying them that much to let people know we’re here and operating!

Oh, and an update on the map… I wanted to let you all know that I’m trying to make a map of where all of our customers are from, but it’s hard to do! But I’m excited to say that I’ve gotten it started! Starting a task is often times the hardest thing to do!

We do appreciate all of you, whether from Florida or not, who voted for us!
