Got another box!

While I was in the states, my husband got a box from Fran!

He left it sitting on the table’s bench until I got back.

I decided to unpack it and take the tops over to the church.

Oh - and I also was given some tops while in the states. Those I packed up in a couple of boxes and have shipped to myself along with some fabric. It should arrive in about 3-4 weeks from now. We’ll see. If you sent us tops at Quilted Twins for me, thank you! I will get to them in time, Lord willing.

(I’m referring to tops for charity quilts for people in Poland).

Thank you - everyone for helping me out in this way. I definitely enjoy having different styles and colors of tops to finish up for the local people.

Anyway - here’s the box Fran sent.

Here are the tops! There are 18 of them - 12 smaller ones and 6 medium or larger ones.

Once again - I do appreciate all the help I’ve gotten! As I finish up my own quilts that have been on my mind for the last few months, it is freeing me to think about getting to the charity quilts! Thankfully this year I can work in the basement even when it’s hot outside because it is nice and cool in the basement!

Fran is such a generous soul - and I really appreciate all she does for us and the people here in our area! I doubt she will ever see this, but if she does - I want her to know how much I appreciate all she does while she sits at her machine in Arizona, sewing!

Back to me - I’m gradually getting over jet lag and feeling a bit better with the allergies. I do have a voice now though leaning over and doing yard work doesn’t feel so great yet. I am taking meds that I have here in Poland. I’ve been trying to get my quilts that were just thrown in my sewing room upstairs bound and out of there. I’m not working at very high speed, but I am working regularly on them. Hopefully going to finish up those quilts very soon.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
