"Down on the Farm"

It’s finished. I took a bundle from the Quilted Twins store last year in order to make a quilt from the bundle pack.

This is what I made with it.

I took the second panel and cut the pieces apart and framed them like these -

I just really liked the fabrics that came with this bundle pack.

It was a beautiful day when I photographed it.

I did add the navy and the red boards - to help give me some sort of design. The bundle pack comes with two panels, so I wanted to use pretty much all of it!

The quilting was simply loops.

I have worked up the design page - not a complete pattern because it is so specific to this bundle pack, but I will give you the measurements that I used for the various borders and pieces.

I totally enjoyed making this top. The fabric was wonderful to the touch and just a pleasure.

I sent the quilt with some of my friends in WI who were visiting us. They gave it to their oldest daughter (16) who is working for a local farmer. She loves it!!!
