Two Baby Quilts finished!

Now these two quilts I’ve had around for some time now. I mean, a LONG time.

I just had to finish them up. I gave up on whatever I had in mind doing and just decided that it was past time to just get these done! I’ve moved them from room to room and pile to pile. It’s over. I’m done doing that.

I will give them away to someone who has a baby or a couple of people who have babies. It is so far past time to finish them it isn’t funny.

A friend of mine named Monika made the applique top and wanted me to do something with it - and I debated finishing it up larger and larger to make a twin size quilt. However, I’ve since changed my mind, obviously. I didn’t know what to do and thus was paralyzed by that lack of knowledge. I have since decided it will make just a fine baby quilt - white or not. (I think white probably isn’t the absolute best choice for a tiny baby’s quilt as it shows all the dirt and mess). However, white or colorful - I want it out of my house! So here it is!

I did not hang these on the line because they were so small, they would look tiny and not hang very well. I decided to just place them on the tale out and photograph them.

The other top was actually made by Fran, I believe, or someone from Arizona. Also I had wanted to add something to the edges to make it bigger, but I gave up that idea and just decided to get this one finished.

So here is this one.

So, while these two little quilts are just that - small, and they were tops that were given to me for various reasons - I just want to get them out of my house and moved on to other people who can use them.

Obviously, I quilted them and then bound and washed each of these.

I will probably take these to church and give them to someone who walks through the door and can use them. And it feels very good to get these done…finally. I’m sure these tops are more than 10 years in my house - being moved from room to room!

Sigh of relief. Maybe you can feel it wherever you are?

Have a great day wherever you are reading!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
